The lead pastor at Grace Community Church had been brewing on an idea for a website designed to facilitate blessings among its visitors. The main idea was that people could visit the site to submit requests for help as well as fill those requests for others. He also wanted it to become the primary site for information on the church’s missions.
10For2 worked with Joel Strayer to create a custom site resembling a community cork board. Using Joel’s designs, we were able to build a custom WordPress site with Gravity Forms managing the incoming and outgoing blessing requests. The missions are published using the WP blog functionality with a convenient link to allow for donations. We also structured the back-end similarly to their existing websites so they would be comfortable managing the website themselves.
